Born in southern France to a working-class family, Jacques Ruas developed a fascination for music and art early on. Despite the challenges of his environment, marked by social injustice and police violence, Jacques found a creative outlet in art. As a child, he received lessons in oil painting, theater, piano, guitar, and drums. In the streets of his neighborhood on the Côte d'Azur, he began to express his artistic maturity through graffiti and poetry.
Jacques' experiences and stories from the underground are reflected in his artistic persona, which he created in the late nineties. This character, heavily inspired by rock bands like Nirvana and hip-hop artists like Tupac, combines art, activism, and poetry. Thanks to new technologies, Jacques was able to realize his musical vision without instruments by working with digital audio workstations like Cubase.
Driven by the desire to not only improve his own life but also inspire others, Jacques moved to Germany in 2001. In Duisburg, he attended the Berthold Brecht Vocational College, where he learned programming and deepened his technical skills. Inspired by DJ QBert, he acquired his first turntable set and perfected the art of scratching.
Over more than a decade, Jacques expanded his skills in numerous areas: drawing and painting, web programming, photography, video editing, marketing, and global economy. In 2012, he opened a professional music studio and developed my-redWeb, an extensive community that unites all his knowledge and skills.
Jacques' vision is to bring about positive change in society through his art and personal commitment. His travels and experiences in Germany reinforced his belief in the transformability of life and the importance of cultural openness. As a motivator and lecturer, he is dedicated to unlocking the potential in his fellow human beings and supporting them on their path to achieving their goals.
